The department of Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) has a variety of ways it training organizational members on the issue of workplace health and safety. There are classroom training and DVD/VHS rentals that require an on-line test to receive a certificate of training. These instructions will teach the employee how to identify the term “workplace” and “new worker.” It is important to know these because the training will then describe the issues relating to health and safety for a new worker. It provides the employees with the tools to be able to identify and document health and safety issues in the workplace. Mr. Gonzales will have 60 days to complete the OSH training from project start date. As an alternate means of training and to provide additional legal advice, QA will set-up mentoring programs with Mr. Sam Waters, Chief of Compliance.
