Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find causes of why many students of specific populations are failing the CAHSEE repeatedly. There are several possible reasons why this occur; inadequate teaching, student disabilities, limitations in their ability to read and speak English. Another reason is that students are underprepared due to lack of material in low-income communities. The study will be conducted at Kaiser High School in Fontana.
