Whilst we were there we were given a set of army combats (a top and bottoms) and whilst we stayed with them wherever we went with them we had to wear the army combats. My punctuality and appearance for the whole entire week was brilliant. Whilst we were away with the army we learned: how to march the way the army does, we learned how to do a fireman’s carry, we learned how to try and take out a sniper with being seen and we learned what it meant to be a vital part of a team.

I keep up to date my first aid and that I have a fully stocked first aid box. I make sure accident forms are completed in the event of an accident occurring and that all parents are fully informed, who then sign any forms that need to be filled out. Working with children brings significant duty of care, and younger and more vulnerable the child, the greater the duty of care 1.2 By ensuring risk assessments are being carried out within a setting, also to make sure all equipment and toys are safe, and cater for the appropriate age. By making sure there are no hazards like cleaning materials being left out and all electrical sockets are not being left uncovered, this is to protect any harm to children and young people in my setting. Before you start drivin it is important to learn skills that will help you stay in control. First, make sure your vehicle is in good working condition. Your vehicle should be inspected at least once a year. Always make sure that your headlights, brake lights, and blinkers are working. Also pay attention to your brakes, tires, windows, steering, wiper blades and horn.
Every minute of every hour that we as professional soldiers are on duty certain standards apply. Standards cover how we must look, what we can and cannot wear, regulations on our haircuts, must be clean shaven, and every other inch of our appearance.
