Hero’s Journey: Joseph Joseph was self confident; he believed he could be anything he wished. Joseph had one sister and eleven brothers from Jacob, his mother was Rachel. He was Jacob’s favorite son and God had great plans for Joseph. Sometimes he wasn’t very sensitive of others’ feelings. When he had dreams of greatness, he didn’t hesitate one bit to share with his brothers and dad.

Students do not see that at first, this comes through spiritual maturity. “A young person’s identity does not depend on pure phycology, human goals and achievements, or social labels. Each young person’s identity, and ours as well , comes because we are held in high esteem by a sovereign God who has informed us of sin and forgiveness” (pg. 194).
I really like his outlook on God given talents. He feels that God gave us theses talents we have to glorify him, therefore we should use them as God intended us too. This book helped me grow as a Christian. Just seeing the examples he set for others is one thing that made me realize I needed to do in my own life. Whither I realize it or not people are always watching me.
Joshua was one of the 12 that was sent out to spy out the land of cannon. In the book of Joshua we see that he was leader material and he chose to follow God, not just him but his entire household Joshua 1:8. Joshua has shown time and time again that he could be trusted by the Lord God. Before the death of Joshua he told the children of Israel to be strong and to remember that God had done great things for them and that they should love the Lord Joshua
No matter what color, race, sex, what set they’re from, how they were raised, anything. He loves everyone. To prove this, “if you were my son, I’d be the proudest man alive” shows that he shows Looney a tremendous amount of love. Looney has just pulled G aside to show him his report card of “straight A’s” which turned out to be a little off but Father Greg decides to support Looney and show compassion because he is proud of him regardless. Looney actually only got one A grade but didn’t receive any bad marks and G is very proud of him for this.
A big part of Washington’s Farewell address is Washington’s religious views and morals. He says of all the dispositions and habits, which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. Religion and morality lead to the peace in politics. Men who are completely opposites and can not agree on anything even have to respect another mans religious views. He believes that virtue or morality is a necessary part of a popular government.
Throughout The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Huck and Jim form a bonded relationship like no other. They defy all social “laws” with no remorse or feelings of guilt and they begin to fill the missing piece of the father- son relationship that Huck has lacked his whole childhood. They rely on one another for almost everything. Jim needs Huck so that his secret of running away is not revealed and Huck relies on Jim to subconsciously keep him safe from all the evils he is running away from in his everyday life. Huck also needs Jim to act as the missing father-figure to guide him along their journeys.
