Through anonymity, it is possible for me to create a persona online, who is different from the person I am offline, this can assist me to engage in discussions without worrying about my identity. The literature on social psychology has indicated that anonymity help people manage their relationships online; in accord with this literature, I believe that maintaining anonymity is a healthy way to interact on the online platform. People should be made to have control of what they share, sell and distribute, the lack of anonymity denies people this precious right.
