INTRODUCTION This essay is intended to show key factors, in the parting of the ways between Judaism and Christianity, through the difference in law observance, messiahship, and the taking of God’s words to the gentiles by Paul: The first point will give an account of Jewish law observance, and show that Christianity is not Judaism in evolution. Point two will give an account of what the Jews expect of the messiah and the form He is to come in, and opposing arguments from Jesus Point three will give an account of Paul taking the message of the gospel to the gentiles. LAW OBSERVANCE FOOD LAWS: Lev 11:1-8. The Lord said to Moses and Aaron “say to the Israelites: of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones that you may eat: You may eat any animal that has a split hoof completely divided that chews the cud.
