Although most people go to college to earn a degree, going to college is not necessarily the best choice for everyone. He says that if some students are not getting their money’s worth in college, they should go to vocational school to be better prepared rather than going to college that’s not worth it for them. Some people could argue that it is unnecessary to make everyone go to college, high school graduates will be better prepared by continuing their education to get theoretical and practical knowledge for their careers. I decided to be a freshman in college this year because I wanted to prepare myself for a good career in the future by learning knowledge in the specific field I want to be. I also like to learn, my second reason to continue my education.
Summary of “Who Needs College” by Linda Lee In the book article Who Needs College?, by Linda Lee, she explores the journey of kids who choose to attend college following high school and those who go on to find regular work with only a high school diploma. Basically she asks if college is really necessary for all kids. The author quoted many studies and explained how a good majority of students that attend college never graduate with a bachelors degree. She stated that a large percentage just go for the college experience which is a waste of time and money. Her overall point is that a college degree is not necessary for success.
Seems kind of pointless, most athletes don't go pro after college, so I why not get the full educational experience? Getting special treatment in school just because you’re an athlete is not fair. College is way to difficult for people to get special treatment just because of a person’s special talent. How about for students who are honor students? All their hard work doesn’t mean anything?

If that happens then you might have to take whatever class could not transfer over at a university for more money. Be sure to find a good advisor to make the chances of a nightmare happening slim to none. Unfortunately you do not get a bachelor’s degree from a community college. Some say community colleges have limited curriculum. (Pros and Cons, 2012) For high school graduates, commuting from home appears to them as a disadvantage.
I have four requirements that need to be met including, 3.0 GPA or higher, 18 or higher on the ACT, 95% attendance, and a high school diploma. I support free community college because it gives opportunities, it can lower the unemployment rate, and save money. Free community college can give opportunities to lower class people who can’t afford college. If these people want to go to college, but they can’t, now they would be able to. They would be able to receive an education to help them get a job and make money.

I believe rewarding optimal behavior of undergraduates will not only assist them in paying for college, but I also believe it will make them want to continue to perform well. Despite the prominent problems of payment and remedial classes, these are not the only problems that community colleges
Being open-minded to learn or do new things can show one's true passion for a profession. Lastly, Many students go into college and change their major at least once, going through college helps show you what you really want to invest your time in as a profession (Importance of College Education). It’s okay if one doesn’t know what they want to do going into college, there are many things offered in college someone can learn to love, and want to do in the future. An additional point is that college fees only contribute a small proportion of the college budget. However, I am opposed to free education.
