“People with goals succeed because they know where they’re going”- Earl Nightingale. I take this quotation to heart. I use it as a motivator to keep going, regardless the situation. Ever since I’ve learned to pick up a pencil, I knew that I wanted to pursue in art when I was older. At my high school, I have nearly taken every art course that they have to offer. I put pride into my work, always spending countless days and nights to make sure that my projects are at their very best. After I graduate high school, I hope to continue pursuing in art by majoring in animation. From there, I hope to work my way up to an animation position for a movie company. While my goals may seem out of reach at the moment, I know for a fact that I have what it takes to accomplish them. A career that provides entertainment to the masses. I am of course referring to the art of animation. Ever since I was young, I have always adored animated movies. I admire the time and effort that is put into every picture, and how they are able to lure me into a world of fantasy. For these reasons, I want to be an animator for a movie company. I hope to be a part of an ensemble that works together and produces works of art that will later be seen by millions on the big screen. After graduating, I plan to scout for animator positions, and show them my work from high school and college. It may be a long road of rejections despair, but I will stay determined. Every rejection that I may receive will be a motivator for me to work harder. To spend that extra hour on a project. To add those finishing touches.
