As our consumers view our pins and re-pin them our brand is exposed to new consumers as well as untapped markets. Facebook is a social app that allows us to easily reward our consumers for their loyalty and friendliness. If they choose to get the Facebook Places app they will be able to share with their friends about where they are and show that our brand is good and trustworthy. I chose the topic of the social media for many reasons. The first reason was because I like going on Facebook to chat with my friends. The second reason was because I go on Twitter all the time to see what my favorite music and movie stars are doing. The last reason I chose this topic was because I like going on social networks and so I wanted to find out how the social media affects the people that go on it and how it help spread information. On facebook and instagram you can add pictures and information with other people across the globe. With twitter you can “tweet” also known as messaging to get information out on the web. A good way an individual can use social media to help strengthen their community is by setting up a Facebook account to delivery important information. For example my community has a Facebook page I follow and they are constantly updating information about my community’s environment. Every Thursday at 6pm they have tea time at our local city hall so we can get to know our neighbors better.
