Sensitive information is becoming more easily shared, thus, causing greater care in filtering what people can do with private information. Filtering material online for children was also imperative as technology has grown and kids have more access to online websites. Research shows that if these restrictions were not placed then people would have a false sense of privacy and children would not be protected.
