Tying a shoe can be very easy once broken down into a few simple steps. Learning to tie a shoe will be beneficial to everyday life. When first learning how to tie a shoe, remember that it may take a few tries before this difficult process is perfected. This process will include several easy to follow steps that will educate one how to properly tie a shoe. The first thing the person tying the shoe (or one) should do is to make sure that the shoe fits snug. Do this by taking the left lace in the left hand and the right lace in the right and pull them until the shoe fits comfortably. Be sure not to pull too tightly or else the shoe will later become uncomfortable. The next step would be to cross the laces. With both the right and the left laces still in hand take them and pull them across from each other forming the letter X. Then take either of the two laces and bring it underneath the opposing lace. Next, pull both laces until the tie is tight. Now that the base of the tie is finished, the hardest part has just begun. Making the two loops for the tie is the third step. This step will require several tries before correctly executed. First take whichever lace you prefer to start with and loop the lace, which if done correctly should look like the letter O. After that, hold the bottom of the loop and wrap the other lace around the bottom of the loop. Once around the loop bring the lace underneath itself, creating another loop.
