Have you ever thought of being alone in the world? Can you imagine that? The picture that you see might not be so satisfying because human are social creatures. They cannot live without society or friendship, so they try to make friend. Human realize that friendship is very important in their lives. Having friends or good friendship has benefit for human’s lives. That is why everyone needs friends. According to Abrahum Maslow, American psychologist who created Maslow's hierarchy of needs, a theory of psychological health predicated on fulfilling innate human needs in priority, culminating in self-actualization. Maslow’s theory shows us that human has 5 levels of needs which are all important. In this case, the third level of need “Love and Belonging,” seems to be the most important and related with society. This level is psychological needs; when individuals have taken care of themselves physically, they are ready to share themselves with others, such as with family and friends. When you have a good friendship, you will feel comfortable and trust. That makes you more confident and has courage to do something new. Of cause, you will success in everything you do. For instance, in the situation of student’s presentation in class, if you know that the audiences are your friends, you will feel more comfortable and be your own than you talk to strangers. So you can present your project confidently and your confidence makes you successful. Friendship does not affect only humans’ successful, but it also helps humans live among problems in their lives. Although some people might manage their own problems, most of them prefer to have friends beside when in trouble. They need to be cheered up when facing the bad time.
