Mainly because of the rewards that you get once you finish and how that can open up other opportunities. Knowing that’s its still hard work, to accomplish what your personal legend is. I plan on achieving my personal legend in many ways. Connecting with Santiago, similar to what he did but in different ways and different routes to get were he wanted to be. Those who figure out their personal legend should more likely be successful in life.
A person will have more responsibility in work, which will affect there day to day life. As well as being more responsible they will be more independent as they will have money to be able to do more things. Being more responsible and more independent, means that they will develop a more mature way of thinking. They can be affected emotionally in two different ways positively or negatively. They may feel better emotionally because of the fact that they have a job; this is because they would have earned the money themselves, which to many would be a personal achievement and a ‘step up’ in life leading them to feel better about themselves.
This exercise sets out everything I find important to myself and put a value upon it. This gives priority a new meaning because placing value on family and salary and certain things you want and need out of a job make a difference on what kind of job that maybe in mind. This creates an action plan in which requires a person to set limits to what needs to be given up for what job you want or want to work up too. Setting career priorities define my goals and help me look for a job because it makes me want to accomplish every goal I set for myself, so I can be happy and have everything I need to live and survive with. It is important when evaluating career variables because it helps me define my potential and where I want to spend my time working.
My belief is to have a aim in life, and work towards it, whether it be a aim in life to work towards, whether it be higher qualifications to better my job prospects or working towards bettering my career path, each is a great belief for me to acheive as this will be beneficial to my children and improve my way of life. While my Values and Beliefs are important to me I appreciate that not everyone values the same qualities. While it has not been an issue in my current position I could say that I may have less empathy or patience for people who are more work shy or don't work to my standard. It is important that i dont allow my beliefs and values to place a strain on my relationships with both colleauges and service users. Working in the Health sector, you are most likely to come accross people with views you dont agree with and some people wont understand your point of view.
I want to have a great personal life rather than a great professional life with no personal life. I will get my professional life on track by going to school every day that I have class. I feel that by attending class will only help me to succeed more. I will also graduate and receive my Bachelor’s degree and then maybe move onto my Master’s if my job entails it. Once I have graduated, I hope to find a job that will fit my qualities and responsibilities.
Personal Skills Hardworking-Being Hardworking will benefit you and the business. It will affect the business because while you’re being positive you’re getting your job done and more employees might try harder and get motivated. Tell them that you turned them in and will help them in their time of need. Show them where they are lacking and teach them to do better. Ultimately it’s on you and how you want to be seen. What do you think is right and how dedicated are you to your job? I know that I always want to advance my career but I don’t want to have smut on my past.
Realizing what is truly important to us is a major step towards achieving personal success. Once a person fully knows who they are, they are able to see limitations and opportunities. Personal success is being able to allow for personal growth. Success can mean having a family, friends, and a mediocre paying job that satisfies. It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize.
Being an RA/CA will help improve me being much more responsible with a job. Whenever I have a job I am responsible. But I feel as though I can never be more responsible. I take any job I have seriously. I hope to be a great asset to the school.
Many of the tasks that I am assigned have an official end date and have to be done, there are not a lot of extensions. Without organization, files can get misplaced, data is lost and clients get angry causing me to lose work time and potentially miss a deadline. According to Philpot (2011), time management is all about planning the day in order to make the best use of time. Being able to plan out a project with proper time management skills keeps my stress level down by giving me a schedule to stick to and small deadlines to meet along the way. This keeps the work load manageable by not getting tasks backed up.
