This essay will compare and contrast the different experiences of high school and college. One of the major differences between high school and college is the fact that high school is mandatory and in most instances free to attend. Because students are required to attend, they sometimes lack motivation. High school can be filled with hand holding from both the teachers and parents. Students have little say over what classes they will take and when they will take them, as most of the classes are pre-arranged.
Of course, it was always also very expensive, so very few could afford to go. Times has changed. The prices of colleges remained high, but the importance of college education is different. Nowadays it is almost a requirement. There are still companies that promote only within, but even those positions usually require if not at least a two year degree, then proof of college enrollment.
Their perspective on how the underachieved educational system is, alongside my encounters with complex of schooling. In high school, we are given many standards every day that we must meet in order to be considered successful, but the reality is; these standards are fruitless in expectation for colleges and universities. In high school I did not get the English composition skills, to prepare me for my college courses. They are right about their belief that the professors in the universities are very inspired in some ways to give their standards to the students in depth knowledge to set higher standards, however, it is not good to know that some high school students still enter Americas elite schools through remedial process, because it might agitate the worldwide standards set by the school
While I have yet maintain a job as a high school student I believe that my academic experiences have still prepared me well for my upcoming college academic career. Throughout high school I have taken rigorous courses including several AP classes that have made me accustomed to a large work load. Beginning college can be extremely stressful, highlighting one’s strengths and weaknesses. While in high school a student could have been able to make A or B honor roll without studying much or doing all of their homework, in college this could be a weakness for them due to needing to study more and not being used to this. I believe my strengths in college will be my studious habits and my diligence.
An additional hour or so is needed to write up the case if required. This would allow him to put more attention on the note taking and possible less understanding of the material for the specific class. Which could possibly distract him and lose his focus. However, Study Skills comes with many important reasons to keep the class.
In a typical school day you are required to perform a wide variety of tasks. In order to be a successful student you will need to be very well organised in all areas of your work. Although it may seem an obvious area, the efficient organisation of books and equipment is vital. The student who does not bring the right books to class or forgets a calculator for Mathematics, for example, is less likely to get as much from a lesson as the student who always brings what is needed and organises his/her material in an efficient way. While some subjects provide exercise books for you to work in, others may require you to use a file.
Everyone goes to school, it is kind of a law, but the government does not make the teachers give the students homework each night. That is by the teacher’s own doing. So why would the teachers want to give the students homework after a long days work? There is no straight answer to this question only the answers that each individual teacher gives. But the problem isn’t that the teachers give it, the problem is that students have no time for studying and doing there homework.

Again, students should prepare in the long run for entrance exams by taking harder classes in high school. Unfortunately, in the United States many students from low-income families are in schools where they are not encouraged to take rigorous academic courses or the courses are just not offered to the students. There is also a positive correlation between family income and test performance. (Depalma).
It becomes hard to focus and even a little uncomfortable. Imagine having a class with over 100 students and only 1 professor. It becomes hard to seek help because their are so many other people seeking help also. Whereas at community colleges, class sizes are so much smaller and much easier to get help when needed. It's easier to focus when there are only 20 people in one class rather then 60 people.
