My meal included lobster tail, turkey, squash, corn, and wild rice. I also served strawberries and honey for dessert. As I took in the opinions of my family members, the most popular dish seemed to be the wild rice. It wasn’t necessarily the rice itself that took their taste buds to outer space but the added texture brought from the cashews and the honey that made it taste sweeter really made the dish delicious. We kind of have this pig roast at every occasion being from a Sweet 15 to a Wedding and even a baptism or just a plain birthday party. It is a process that we build gadgets for the pig to be roasted on a stick and turned either manually or with a motor contraption. It is something for the men in our culture to cook the pig from the morning till it is time to have feast with all the trimmings of the Puerto Rican way. It entails rice and beans, potatoes’ or macaroni salad your bread and salads. Also I forgot to mention we have these appetizers which are called empanadas which is like a tortilla with meat on the inside and fried, which most people love here in America.
By the time every one gets to Grandma’s house, the house is already filling up with fabulous smells of pie, meat, and other wonderful foods and to top it off the smell of fresh cut grass blowing in for the opened windows throughout the house. Each family member prepares and brings a traditionally favored recipe. My grandma is always in charge of making the best pies in the world, especially cherry pie which happens to be my favorite. She also prepares the hot rolls, cheesy potatoes and famous deviled eggs. My aunts’ are normally responsible for bringing the green beans, cheese dip and potato salad and whatever else they fell like bring.
Lastly, Teen rebellion influence the Nguyen and Seelig family. These five personal situations will greatly affect these character's behaviors negatively. Families traditions is an important aspect that drastically effects these two families negatively. Every family has their own ways of celebrating this lovely holiday we call thanksgiving. Some families like to bake specific things like a passed down family recipe of a sweat potato dish or like the Williams family, a big bowl of homemade mac and cheese and cornbread stuffing.
Chipotle has some American food and some Mexican food. It also serves vegetarian food.The burrito bowl tasted so good I felt like eating it everyday.Also on the kids menu there is a taco kit where you can build it.All of those food are my favorite foods.This is why Chipotle is a excellent restaurant.
