Degradation and humiliation Conclusion/Closing: Craig Price was a young boy who loved to play football, with a baby face and smile living with his parents in a small town in Rhode Island. He had a small history of being in trouble but was always friendly to neighbors and surrounded by friends. At the age of 13 years old, he became the youngest serial killer in natural history. Living his town of Buttonwoods in a state of shock, Price was arrested for the brutal murders of Joan Heaton and her two children. Price recalls the memories of degradation and humiliation that brought the anger and rage to kill.
It is not that Bartleby does not show up for work, it is that he stays at work, while doing nothing with his time. The lawyer describes him in a specific scene of the story by saying, “meanwhile Bartleby sat in his hermitage, oblivious to everything but his own peculiar business there” (376). The entire office believes that Bartleby is a little “luny.” Bartleby might seem autistic to some outsiders and readers of this story. No matter how many times the Lawyer tries to get more out of Bartleby, than “I would prefer not to,” nothing changes. The Lawyer notices that Bartleby has not been leaving the office, but instead of confronting him about it, he lets him reside there.
The poem shows us how much his son Sean is growing up and instead of running over to his dad after the football game he joins his friends and starts “walking away’’ towards his school. Cecil Day Lewis becomes very wary of where Sean went the day he walked off and his descriptions of that day eighteen years later are still very precise and detailed. When Sean didn’t join his dad after the football game C Day Lewis was left shocked and emotional. The quote that supports this statement is when C Day Lewis implies “like a satellite wrenched from its orbit go drifting away.’’ This suggests that the satellite is no longer revolving around its orbit as Sean used to revolve around his father in the way he used to be have such a strong relationship with him and now that has been fading away. When Sean decided not to accommodate his dad after the match a quote was used to describe his hesitant movements.

Patrick Ireland was shot twice in the head and once in the foot during the carnage in the Columbine High School library. When the killers left the library, his surviving classmates tried to get him to come with them, but had to give up and fled without him. Over several hours, Patrick, with one side paralyzed, with his right foot shattered and useless, with a shotgun pellet eight inches into his brain, and with even his survival in doubt, crawled to the second-floor window. Then, with the world watching, he dropped out of it, into the arms of SWAT team officers. His recovery was arduous amazing, and it is a story of determination, support from around the world from people both famous and otherwise, triumph, and success in his adult life.
“What are you doing around here kid,” he said to me. “Oh… I’m just coming home from football waiting for the bus,” I replied. “You do know that I had beef with you brother and it still isn’t settled right?” At this point I stared to become a little scared. I was in a neighborhood known for a lot of fights regarding territory and all I can remember is my brother telling me how he beat up a kid from Howard Beach last month.

I feel as if the title is portrayed the meaning that William Forrester is finding himself. At the beginning of the movie when Forrester did not want to help or have anything to do with Jamal kind of shows where he is at and how he lives his life. Forrester stays in his apartment and does not even leave to go shopping for groceries. He has people bring him his things and has every door bolted shut with multiple locks. To me this shows some one who is lost in a way.
