Miami Dolphins Organization The Miami Dolphins Organization is an organization within a much larger entity. The Miami Dolphins are a professional football team in the National Football League. The team was established in 1966, and boast a proud and rich history: having one of the most successful players in NFL history, Dan Marino; having the winningest coach in NFL history, Don Shula; and having the one record that has only ever been close to being beaten once, the 1972 perfect season (and no fan will ever let you forget it). The Miami Dolphins play their home games out of Sun Life Stadium which is located in Miami Gardens, Florida. The organization itself is run out of the Miami Dolphins Training Facility which is based in Davie, Florida.…show more content…
November 2, 2013: Conflicting reports begin to surface as more details are released. Martin reportedly reveals threatening texts and voicemails sent to him by Incognito with his family. A South Florida newspaper reports that Martin left the team for “other emotional issues” and not bullying. November 3, 2013: Allegations against the Miami Dolphins of “player misconduct” are raised by Martin, with Incognito being the primary person accused. The Miami Dolphins organization insists that these bullying allegations at the moment were purely speculative, but they would be performing an internal investigation. Incidents are brought to light, including: Incognito forcing Martin to pay $15,000 for a trip which he did not participate in, and younger players being forced to pay bills for veteran players including a $30,000 team dinner. Martin surrenders the texts and voicemails to the Miami Dolphins organization and the league. As a result of the release of the messages, the Miami Dolphins suspend Incognito
