In North America, pollution has become one of the biggest problems and has yet to improve. It is not only affecting humans, but also plants and animals. This report will cover a wide span of categories of this specific issue, such as addressing the issue of pollution and formulating questions. Also, since many parties are involved, their viewpoints and ideology will be provided in this report as well. In addition, solutions will be brought up and their consequences will be discussed regarding the issue. Furthermore, moral questions will be asked and the relationship to the writer’s value will be explained. The depletion of the ozone layer poses a serious risk for everyone because high exposure to ultraviolet rays causes diseases (such as degenerative ones). Besides water, air, and land pollution, there is an alarming amount of many more different types of pollution. For example, there is light and noise pollution. Although it is something that cannot be smelled or physically seen, noise pollution affects the environment in a negative way. There are several sources of noise pollution, such as planes and industrial sources. Although it is just sound, the physical symptoms have a serious toll on many people. For example, studies have shown that there is an increase in blood pressure for many people, speech interference and hearing loss (Bradford, 2018). The WHO Noise Environmental Burden of Disease concluded that hundreds of thousands of deaths may have been caused by noise pollution (due to heart diseases). In addition, sea creatures such as whales are also getting affected by noise pollution that happen underwater.
