CASL Essay Assignment I would like to attend the CASL conference so that I can further my leadership journey. By going to CASL it will help me to grow in my abilities and qualities. When I grow, not only would I benefit myself as a better leader but our school would benefit also in their representation and leadership program. I would also like to attend CASL so that I can learn about service projects. I am very interested in starting a specific service project my junior year for CAS hours and this would be a great help to me with that.

I finally had self- confidence and the drive to make the most of my career as I neared completion of Banker’s College. Finally completing bankers college only started a drive for personal interest in a full fledged college degree and a chance at a new dream that I one day would like to complete, my own day care. I returned to an online college in a degree program for Early Childhood so I could prove to my family that I could graduate with honors and receive a diploma and I did with an Associate’s Degree the proudest moment of my life. The Hopes I Have for College For the past four years of my high school career my teachers and family have been preaching to me about me attending college. And how I need to do better in school so I could receive scholarships in this and participate in that once I got accepted into a college. For everyone in high school it seemed that the ultimate goal for students was to get the hell up out of there and live the college life. So, like everyone else I made it my goal, not having a real reason of my own besides “to learn”. So no, I don’t know why I’m in college.
I took some classes and shortly I was only 2 classes away from receiving my Associates Degree, but things and priorities changed in my life. I got married to my beautiful wife Cyndi in December 2002 and we shortly had a child on the way. I also converted my job in the Navy to Navy Career Counselor. Because of these changes in my life I put off college and did not pick it back up again till this class. I have found that I really like working and helping people.
I started college on April 17th 2012 upon enrolling I was very nervous, scared, and doubtful. With various mixed feelings I also had a sense of security and persistence that it was time I took control of my life and exhaust myself to my finest potential. This would essentially be a time for me to put myself to the test. Some individuals look at obtaining a college degree just for a better job, or to gain substantial income, wealth, and so forth. Although these reasons are justifiable my reason for returning to college is for all the reasons above as well as I want more knowledge.
We have utilized all the tools we have been given all these years and now we are on the cusp of greatness. We are now standing in front of the real world “EXPOSED”. I am grateful that EBHS exposed me to what may lay ahead and I stand here confident that we are equipped to meet the challenge head on and let the world know, “we are ready, we are coming, so bring us the best you have!” In closing, I’d like to say this day isn't for us, but for the people that have sacrificed for us to have a proper education so we can become something that is greater than this world! Therefore, I want to thank Principal Lee Vasquez for his hard work and dedication to the student body here at East High, my parents for exposing me to many life lessons and to my fellow graduates, who tonight we stand as the East Bakersfield High School graduating class of 2012.
I want to execute the training bond program because the incentives associated with it are universal and include increasing one’s earning potential and acquiring additional skills and abilities that are attractive to any organization. Training and development are important factors that would help me develop talent, motivation, and leadership skills that will contribute to a successful personal and professional career. Training bond is an important factor to the success of any organization. As an employee I would like to be a valuable asset that will add to the success of the company and I want to execute the training bond because I believe it will help me achieve that. An impressive resume is the key to obtaining an interview with a potential employer. A properly written resume provides the interviewer with education information, employment history, and any specialized experience you may have.
