As our consumers view our pins and re-pin them our brand is exposed to new consumers as well as untapped markets. Facebook is a social app that allows us to easily reward our consumers for their loyalty and friendliness. If they choose to get the Facebook Places app they will be able to share with their friends about where they are and show that our brand is good and trustworthy. Without trust and interaction between the brand and consumers the brand cannot grow. The best way to gain that interaction is through social

Every day more and more people from around the world are gaining access to a wide array of media like the internet, and the amount of time we spend on line increases as well, with our tablets and smart phones we are connected to the world 24 hours a day. This paper will break down and discuss through contrasts and compression the three perspectives conflict, functionalist, and interactionist use in the study of Sociology, and there impact on social media. You have to go and turn off the locator function for it not to show where you are posting from. The locator setting shows where you are posting right down to the house number. Some people end up having a dependency or addiction to social media and sacrifice their home life, school, and relationships with other people. Another disadvantage of social media is work production. Social media can distract an employee and take away from work that needs to be completed.
Just one click of the mouse and your problems are over. Unfortunately, this feature of online socialization cheats people of the opportunity to learn how to resolve conflict in the world outside the internet and it could retard or cripple one’s social
Introduction/Background In today’s society, the realities of the virtual world and the real world have merged. They may become so used to communicating via internet that they lose basic communication skills and can’t hold a face to face conversation. Prior to social media, people were able to have secret affairs. But now, it has become so much easier to trace foot prints that are left behind, which in turn makes it easier for couples to spy on each other. Sharing passwords, setting rules as to who your significant other can and can’t have on their friends list, or even going as far as making them delete social media all together will cause many problems between insecure couples. During the last decade, the Internet enriched our social lives and our civic connections. People use e-mail, on-line chat rooms and instant messages to communicate with each other. This is because excessive texting is ruining people’s ability to communicate effectively. Some people are afraid of real intimate conversations and hide their true feelings behind a cell phone or computer. Texting via cell phones or chatting via a computer does not show a person’s emotions since one cannot determine whether the other one is happy or sad. Through text messaging via cell phones and social networks, people can become more individualized, distant, afraid, and indifferent.
Emails come across as impersonal or even hostile. Text messages often take longer than just calling someone. There are now so many ways to keep from having face to face social contact with someone that we are becoming anti-social as a whole, our body language is lost since social media has no way to convey it, our posture, our interpersonal skills, and our health have been affected. We have an overwhelming case of childhood obesity, back and neck problem, and eye sight issues. Social media is the cause of many problems in society today.
