Immigration Effects of Immigration: Students People from all over the world decide to immigrate to the United States of America for various reasons such as war in their home country, or they may be facing economic struggles and believe they will have a better opportunity here in America. Not all immigrants can afford to go through the proper process to obtain entry into the United States or they have been denied citizenship, so they enter the country illegally. When husbands and wives with little children immigrate to the United States, majority of the time the children have no choice but to follow their parents and enter illegally.
