Cats in the suburbs have to live with other people, not just with other cats, and they cannot be expected to understand the human notion of territory. Do pet owners have the right to make neighbours “share” their animals involuntarily, especially when cats exercise their feline rights to spray, dig gardens, and fight? The serious injuries seen most frequently by veterinarians are those caused by cars (next is injuries from falls). According to the Humane Society, free-roaming cats live shorter lives than those kept contained. Car accidents are a major contributor to the shorter life expectancy of outdoor cats.
Owning a pet is very common in our society, with cats and dogs being the most popular choice. You will, however, have two totally different experiences when taking on the responsibility of owning one or the other. As it is expected, they have different personalities, require different levels of care, and have different potential costs. Owning a pet can be a very fulfilling experience, but these differences should be taken into consideration before deciding which pet is right for you. Firstly, let’s discuss cats.

The fact that the rabbits never really appear in the book, shows the reality of Lennie’s dreams that he will never understand. The mice in the story represent a false hope for a safe place for Lennie. The first mouse in the story is a dead one that Lennie likes to keep in his pocket so he can pet it. Which kind of says that Lennie doesn’t care about death or even realize it sometimes, he’s more concerned with comfort. The mice are what Lennie remembers his Aunt Clara by, and that’s the only thing he has to remember her by are those mice.

Cats and dogs are undoubtedly one of the most famous animals that people all over chose to pet; the reason being that these animals can relate best to human emotions and needs in comparison to snakes or hamsters. In the article, “Why Cats Makes Better Pets than Dogs,” by Sean Curtis, Curtis tries to justify why he thinks cats make better pets than dogs. His views though are agreeable to some extent. Curtis’ basic argument can be summarized as follows: 1.
Irelandused to be so peaceful. That was before the English took over now timesare harder. I am a black irish dog I like to help the cats by catching small animals, like rabbits or rats. While it may be cute for a 5 pound tiny dog to put his paws on your leg when you come home from school, it is allowing a dominant behavior. If you allow this little dog to be your pack leader they will developed many behavior issues, such as jealousy, aggression with other dogs and sometimes with humans, and will become undeniably suspicious of people except for their owner. When strangers are present, they will begin to follow their owner's every move, keeping as close as possible. A Chihuahua who is pack leader of their humans may snap at children. This breed is generally not recommended for children, not because they are not good with them, but because most people treat the Chihuahua differently than they would a large dog, causing them to become untrustworthy.
The wild animals will always be wild even though people raised them or kept them in their house. After considering both sides of issues, I strongly believe that people can not keep exotic animals in their houses, because the wild animals has their own houses, their own family, and the can be free in the wild without being controlled. An exotic animal is a rare pet, it is a wild species not typically kept as a pet. But nowadays, people around the world keep tigers as cats and kangaroos as rabbits in edition that they will learn from keeping the animals in their houses. Austin Setzer (2012) suggests before getting an exotic critter, people can look them on the computer or in a book.
