She even describes these feelings as being dizzy which they can be, what a person feels during infatuation is very confusing and overwhelming. Decisions made by someone during infatuation are by nature irrational. When two people first meet they will make decisions that are ultimately made in haste and are not thought out thoroughly. Jenijoy La Belle uses this example, “That early stage of attraction when were carried away by extravagant passion
So Do I believe love conquers all? Hmmm….Let’s see. When people think they “love” each other, they are spending a lot of time together, hormone endorphin support them in a positive mood of mind that helps people conquer with some of the difficulties. Peoples who are believed in love and have this feeling for someone else can say “Love conquers all”. But, I have on a scientific point of view about
Idealized Love “When we fall in love, we believe our partner is irreplaceable. We have found the one who is perfect, just right for us. The act of falling in love, in a sense, means that we reject the notion that individuals are interchangeable” (Gianotti). In F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, The Great Gatsby, idealized love strongly motivates the key characters Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan. While their journey together begins as a brief fling, the two are soon engrossed in a lifelong relationship filled with undying affection and enduring regrets.
The deeper in love you get, the more heated things get, in both senses of the word. Many authors have honed in on love as a inevitable want that no individual can contain. Even if many obstacles stand in the way, true love will always find a way, but at the terrible cost of keeping secrets. Secrets that eat away at your bones until you fall to your knees because of all the guilt inside you. Two such novels that contain love and the secrets it contains are the Great Gatsby and Ethan Frome.
From the first time met from their obsessed lovers Gatsby as well as Fitzgerald fell in love right away from the get go knowing this was the one girl to not let go. During Fitzgerald’s path to achieve Zelda there were many struggles and hardships that only made him work harder to attempt to satisfy the needs of Zelda’s high living and her high expectations leading to her happiness. In the same case for Gatsby but only after losing the girl first to aim and try and win her over one more time’ “Can’t repeat the past why of coarse you can”(pg101). Gatsby said while it all attempted beginning with his illegal business to gain wealth to try ad impress the loving Daisy to fulfill his master plan. Both of these girls played huge roles and were the motivation for Gatsby and Fitzgerald to have gained the wealth they have received.
It’s funny what happens when everything changes so fast; one forgets about who really cares about them and who’s been there for them since day one. I made that mistake and was with new people every weekend. While it’s nothing I regret, it’s something I wish I had managed differently, and I felt bad about how I had treated my friends. When I apologized to them they forgave me, but it was never the same when I was with them. Going through this experience taught me to never take anything for granted because when everything is given to somebody at the same time, it’s easy to forget who’s
Even though he found out the hard way he understands the way of life. The Epic of Gilgamesh I thought was a superior epic poem. I absorbed a lot from all the themes. First, love for someone is an inspiring influence; if you really adore someone or something you should undergo pain when it’s gone. Second, The inescapability of death; no one can live forever so benefit the time you have and let every moment count.
It's easily mistaken by all ages and not as easily found. When you do find your ideal person, instinctively you will do everything in your power to test them and see if they can handle you, your family, and your friends. You push it to the limit. A couple that can fight over every little thing they can find but work it out calmly and fairly. A couple that accepts one another and all their faults.
It has been said in many different ways over the time, but for some odd reason, mankind cannot take hold of those words of truth. Many people are overtaken by the combination of fascination with wealth and the fear of weakness in life, which, unavoidably, leads to a realization that true happiness in life consists of more than what money could buy. These realizations are sometimes painful, as seen in the story "The Necklace" by Guy de Maupassant. Mathilde Loisel had always dreamt of a life in the high society. As it was, she never seemed to be able to reach it.
Not Meant to be, Alec Salazar, January 13, 2014 Love is a very tricky and sensitive topic for a lot of people. It is the best feeling in the world; there is nothing like it. Truly loving someone means being willing to do anything for the person you love, and wanting him or her to be happy no matter what. The latter is hard for most. In some cases for the person you love, them being happy does not always mean being with you.
