While his movies do rely on Black popular political consciousness, his unconventional approach to storytelling, the emotional intensity of his work. Both of these talented men have carved out relatively successful careers in film and media and both could learn from one another. Even though Lee has a artistic and political vision, it was simply a matter of time before he would publicly clash with Perry’s brand of Christo-entertainment. Perry could benefit from a close study of Lee’s politically rich and artistically fertile work. This may help him understand how his stories about Black women’s salvation being dependent on finding the “right” man is shallow, narrow, and offensive.
Liebling Award, the highest honor a boxing writer can attain, could have told me all about Braddock, but I am just as happy to have gone in cold, so that I could be astonished by Crowe's performance. I think of Crowe as a tough customer, known to get in the occasional brawl. Yes, he plays men who are inward and complex, as in "The Insider" and "A Beautiful Mind," or men who are tempered and wise, as in "Master and Commander." But neither he nor anyone else in a long time has played such a nice man as the boxer Jim Braddock. You'd have to go back to actors like James Stewart andSpencer Tracy to find such goodness and gentleness.
Casablanca and Citizen Kane, two films that are completely different, yet both have something in common; they are both considered to be the greatest movie ever made. Unfortunately only one can hold the title. Casablanca is considered a timeless classic and holds great entertainment value. Citizen Kane on the other hand, is known for its achievements, bringing sophistication and innovative techniques to the cinema. One must ask oneself, what is more important to the average moviegoer, watching a movie for their enjoyment or for its achievements?
The case contains all ingredients of what some would call the American Dream, while others would call it the pseudo-event of the century in the United States of America. The black O.J. Simpson is the essence of the American Dream: He came from the big city’s worst slum-district, he was weak as a child but fought his way out of the temptations of the

This championship definetely did not end the problems in our world with racism or even for that time. It was a significant moment in which the underdogs had won, they came from the bottom and were on top now and had given their people some recognition and made them proud. Coach Don Haskins’s didn’t fix all racism issues, but he helped join black and white a little closer and help realize that we all want to be loved and have a sense of togetherness. Despite whatever adversity one faces and whatever time it is endured in, to always believe in yourself and rise above

Similarly, Tom Robinson was also convicted of raping a white woman. The effect of racial prejudice had shown that it can divide a society in half just because of beliefs. “The defending lawyer for the 9 boys was from New York and was the best in the nation at that time” (Scottsboro Boys 1). Likewise, Tom Robinson also had the best lawyer in the county, Mr. Atticus Finch, to defend him. Both lawyers did their best to win the jury, however, both juries were made up of only white people who were prejudice against the blacks.
