Creativity involves being imaginative and original and all children and young people can be creative if encouraged. It is also often thought that creativity is limited to the 'arts' - for example, music, drama, art, craft, dance, writing, etc. But these artistic areas are not the only ways children can express creativity - and they certainly don't have to be good at art to be creative. Creativity is a way of thinking and being which can be expressed in many areas of life, for example, science, business, maths and cooking.
