Apple has been successful as of late developing and introducing products that are wanted in the market place. They are extremely successful in creating a buzz around their products and a demand for the products which allows them to keep the prices high. One of the biggest challenges that Apple is facing is the compatibility to other computers and devices.

I will be relating my work to two organisations, Tesco (Market Leaders) and ASDA (Competition). Vacancies occur due to lack of staff; this may be because of reasons stated below: * maternity leave * promotion * changing jobs * paternity leave * retirement * etc Other reasons may include a business expanding and needing more staff to cope with demand. For example, a new Tesco Express being opened, this will mean more staff will have to be hired to run the new store. Analysis Currently the growth of the company is significant they have doubled growth in 2009 and 2010. If you annualize Q1 2011 they will grow over another 110% in revenue. Though they turned the corner with meaningful net income and EBITDA in 2010 its obvious during 2011 first quarter results that they are pouring significant dollar into sales, marketing expenses, and product development.
In-depth research and analysis needs to be conducted on other companies that have created similar successful programs. They need to determine what the breakeven point will be, and when these new products will start generating a profit and then make the decision on whether or not it’s worth the investment. Issue 5 Lack of planning CanGo is in rapid development, but at the same time lacks of any sort of planning. CanGo's management team cannot seem to reach a viable solution for the future development of the company. Recommendation 5 CanGo needs to make a comprehensive analysis and then decide on a long-term development plan.
They need to make sure the profit obtained from this investment is enough to justified it.
