The lack of motivation caused by years of not having a job and watching your family suffer in poverty is a condition that not too many of us are familiar with. “Native American Poverty,” by Tom Rodgers justifies the allegations that a large percentage, about 25%, of the Native Americans live in poverty. “According to the US Census Bureau, these Americans earn a median annual income of $33,627. Also in developing countries over 375 million children drink unsafe water, which can be a cause of diseases. Infectious diseases are one of the main causes of death in some countries, and many children die before there 5th birthday. A big difference between countries is the fact that in countries such as Sierra Leone there are child soldiers.
