Inclusive learning should promote positive behaviour and conduct. A teacher needs to recognise that learner comes with different learning styles and needs. Maslow stated unless certain need are met the learner cannot progress. Malsow ‘s hierarchy of needs theory is: Learners needs have to to be met in order for leaners to be involved and focused on their learning. For individual learning styles to be met, within a good learning sessions a teacher will ensure he/she takes a multi-sensory approach to teaching, this way each learner can work to the best of their ability.

It will be greatly beneficial for the teacher and the student as both parties will gain a greater awareness of the student’s understanding level through the student’s explanation. It is a very useful tool for formative assessment as the student and teacher are both monitoring the student’s progress. The teacher will be able to discover any of the student misconceptions and automatically implement methods in the next lessons to correct them and ensure a more stable foundation for further learning to developed upon in the future. However, as beneficial as the interviews are in gaining insight into the student’s minds, the interviews will take up too much classroom time. For the clinical interview to work, the teacher must interview every student in the classroom for 10-20 minutes each, which will take away precious class time from the teacher and students.
Keeping records is a very important reflexive tool for both teachers and learners in the educational setting. Accurate records taken throughout a course enables both teacher and students to continually reassess the effectiveness of the teaching/learning relationship by giving an ongoing measure against which to view learning objectives. Records indicate whether pupils have learnt what has been taught and are making sufficient progress with the course; who needs more help or is ready for more extensive work by assessing better or worse progress than expected; and whether teachers need to refine any aspects of their teaching by assessing successes or shortcomings where teaching needs to be strengthened. Attendance data taken on a close protection course gives an idea of where students may fall behind with learning outcomes through non attendance. Identifying non attendance could indicate a problem external to the teaching setting which may benefit from referral to other professionals or could point to students’ dissatisfaction with the teaching style which could be addressed by reassessing the teaching methods used in order to promote more inclusive practice.
I will create this environment through an engaging curriculum, personable interaction, topic orientated discussions, and group work. Since my license will include an endorsement in Special Education my classroom management will include a focus on flexibility defined as the ability to respond to the moods, emotions and the capabilities of my students on any given day. Meeting the needs of my students, based on their individual need, will be a crucial part of my classroom management structure. I will accomplishment this by promoting self-management and self-efficacy in my students to the best of their abilities. Creating a predictable, consistent, and success-oriented environment will promote self-management in my students by creating, basic, daily routines with limited changes (Savage & Savage, 2010).

Those awarded Qualified Teacher Status must demonstrate that 'They have high expectations of pupils and build successful relationships, centred on teaching and learning. They establish a purposeful learning environment where diversity is valued and where pupils feel secure and confident.' This criterion has become the foundation for my teaching and I consider the creation of a positive learning environment an important feature of a successful lesson and any form of misbehaviour disturbs that environment. Behaviour management has proved very challenging for me, and as can be seen from my weekly evaluations, it was a constantly recurring issue throughout Block A. During Block A, I intended to manage the behaviour in my classroom effectively, but the approach I took was inappropriate.

Initial assessment is to acknowledge the strength or weakness of each student and thoroughly learning about what is the best approach of learning about the students and the better approach or method of teaching the students, so they are able to understand. Target settings will also apply as a motivation for the students so they are able to understand the actual target’s that are required to be followed.
Preventing Teacher Burnout Preposition 3 of the National Board of Professional Teacher Standards (NBPTS) states that teachers are responsible for managing and monitoring student learning (Walden, 2008). This means that high performing teachers are expected to deliver effective instruction; engage students to ensure a disciplined learning environment; know how to assess the performance of individual students as well as the class as a whole; use multiple methods of measuring student growth and understanding and be able to clearly explain student performance to parents (Walden, 2008). Teachers, regardless of their level of commitment or dedication, face challenges at some point in their career that affect their ability to manage and monitor student learning (Kottler, 2005). Some to these challenges include constant bureaucratic restructuring; the nature of the system; feeling of indignity due to the lack of respect from parents, students, and the public (Nieto, 2003); backbiting and lack of support from colleagues; unsupportive friends or family; lack of adequate time and space to effectively perform duties; as well as personal emotional and insecurity issues (Kottler, 2005). When teachers find it difficult to deal with the demands of being a professional educator, burnout or rustout may result (Kottler, 2005).
