The Golden Retriever The Golden Retriever has evolved from being a dog bred for retrieving game to being considered a smart and loving dog that makes a terrific family pet. The golden is a medium-sized breed of dog which can rang in color from a rich red to a bright yellow. According to wiki this dog was originally bred to retrieve game for hunters and has also shown itself to be an excellent guide dog for people with disabilities. A Goldens personality is playful and highly energetic. It is also easily trainable due to its intelligence and strong desire to please its master.
Many people look at pets as another chore, when they are actually very good at being a best friend, confidante that understands all of life’s problems, and the best motivation in keeping healthy. Pets can also keep children active, promote responsibility, and help with socialization problems that are becoming more prominent in today’s society. With a pet adoption a person gains more than just an animal, the community at large is also helped by opening another kennel in the animal shelter for another loving animal. Becoming active in the community is just that simple, but there are other ways to promote animal welfare and overpopulation that affects so many areas of the world. Research has shown that adopting a pet is a great way to improve mental and physical health, promote family values, and become active in the community by rescuing an unwanted or stray animal.
The Egyptians also keep them as pets and give them ample of love. Through the friendship we have shared with our dogs, Anubis has blessed us with a long life and happiness in the afterlife (Coren 29). My family and I have three dogs. To me, Dragon, Pepper, and Chi are not only great companions, they are also healers for our ill health. As I began conducting this research, whether or not companion dogs affect our health, I was astounded by the research studies I have found: it is not a myth that companion dogs affect and improve our health.
My dog is 91 years old (in dog years) that’s 13 human years. My dog is a white miniature schnauzer and literally the best dog I have ever had. I love everything about my dog and how he has grown up. Every dog has their certain habits that they have and their own personality. My dog has many things who makes him who he is today for example, one of his ears was cut shorter than the other because they said he was so hyper it was hard to keep him still.
Neuropathy prevented Ian seeing where his body was which is a petrifying feeling; literally Ian was “The Man who Lost His Body”. It took a year for Ian to stand up safely and six months to put on his sock, this sensory process was long and tedious. This documentary taught me how we are fortunate to have sensory abilities; most people take it for granted because it’s natural. It was unbelievable how Ian recovered from this illness. The doctors told him that he will be in the wheel chair for the rest of his life but he was determined to regain his strength and movement.
He teaches them how to address people politely and how to show respect towards others. Atticus basically gave his children lessons for life. He was also very modest and tried to teach his children about this too. When there was the mad dog wandering down the street, we found out that Atticus was actually had the best shot in the town. Jem and Scout had not heard of this before and so they wanted to tell everyone in order to be proud of their father.

Soon after Bob Marley was born, his father left his mother. Although Captain Norval Marley was not there as a father figure for Bob, he did pay financial support and came to visit his son. In 1959 at age 14 Bob Marley quit school.
The lion king analysis While doing this assignment I didn’t struggle as much because this movie consists of straight facts that helped me explain how the movie, “the lion king” is reflective of families today. I would like to focus on three main reasons as to why this movie is reflective of families today. The three main reasons are as follows: Mufasa being an ideal father, Simba being a responsible child for his parents, and Scar shown as an evil influence. Mufasa is a great king with a very kind heart. He is always concerned about how his son will be like when he would grow up and that is why he is a bit strict with his son when it comes to responsibilities like any father would be in reality.
They enjoy working and being with their master and have a much more sociable personality. They are loyal and brave and also work hard at various jobs that both assist and protect us. There have been stories told over the years of dogs rescuing people in various ways and their bravery has never been questioned. Today dogs are trained in search and rescue, drug and other law enforcement, and are helpers to the blind and handicapped.
