By having an online presence it also means the business has the ability to interact with customers through the website. The online presence also means information can be sent directly to the prospective customers, who have requested to be on the mailing list. This is brilliant for the business as we can send them images of dresses or provide them with additional information on our wedding planning service. Disadvantages: The only downside to the business having a website is the fact the internet is full of rival companies and their advertisements so this could make it difficult for the business to get noticed. The selection of media was chosen as it will hopefully enable us to reach our target market by informing them of our products and services. The types of media are expected to contribute to the overall aims of the business and raise awareness of the business by crating a corporate image. Hopefully it will also encourage our target market to visit our store and view our extensive range of products which with any luck would result in sales for the business which will result in a profit for ourselves. In order to achieve this the advertisements should be eye catching and highlight the features and benefits relevant to the consumer. Even though initial interest has been gained it is important that this is maintained in order for the message to be delivered and understood. Desire: The consumer should be reminded of what they might be missing, or could be enjoying. It is important that the advertisements create a level of desire for the products and services in which we have on offer. This can be created using pictures or text or even both.
