In February 1921, Dali's mother died of breast cancer. Dali was 16 years old; he later said his mother's death "was the greatest blow I had experienced in my life. I worshipped her... I could not resign myself to the loss of a being on whom I counted to make invisible the unavoidable blemishes of my soul." After her death, Dali's father married his dead wife's sister, Dali’s aunt.
On August 21, 1614, age of 54 , one of her guards peaked in on her and found her dead. It was said she was burned at the stake and then placed in the family crypts. Throughout her life she had a strange encounter with who was known as ‘The Dark Stranger’, no one including herself ever talked about the encounter. Then after her death, he returned. That’s when they actually saw who it was.
In the pages of A Countess Below Stairs, by Eva Ibbotson, resides a most unique character named Anna. Anna is a young Russian countess who grew up, essentially, as a princess until she was forced to flee with her family. She was thrown into the culture of the lower class as she took up a job as a common maid. This of course, is not an uncommon role or situation in many books; however what sets her apart from countless other characters is her reaction. As much as she tried, Anna could not completely mask her high class upbringing.

Furthermore, a 300 year dynasty of Romanov Tsars had come to an end when Tsar Nicholas II was forced to abdicate and later executed alongside his family. On top of that, Russia’s Provisional Government was overthrown by a minority party (the Bolsheviks) during the November Revolution of 1917 who in turn formed the world’s first ever Communist government.
Should cases be closed if evidence is found prior to the dismissal of a case? On December 25th, 1996, six year old JonBenet Ramsey was found dead in the basement of her Boulder, Colorado home. Being a part of a Professional organization allows us to make a powerful statement about who we are as nurses. It shows employers, colleagues and most of all our patients about our commitment to our nursing profession.
