The consumers are affected because, they’re entertainment experience has been exemplified, playing games, browsing internet, and they now have the option of not only choosing what movie but also their preferred genre. A tablet computer, is a mobile computer, larger than a mobile phone or personal digital assistant, with a flat touch screen and can only be operated by touching the screen and instead of using a physical keyboard it often uses an onscreen virtual keyboard but a tablet computer may be connected to a keyboard with a wireless link or a USB port. (System Drs, n.d.) There are an abundance of different type of tablets like, Apple iPad, Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble’s Nook, and more. The first airline to try the idea of tablets for passengers is a French airline named OpenSkies for flights between Paris and New York, deciding against traditional seat-back video system. Traditional seat-back systems can cost an airline up to $3 million per airplane rather than the $250,000 per plane for its iPad-based system. The iPads and preloaded with an array of videos and is only shared with premium-class passengers for free.
