Michael Tighe Marianne Bird My Legacy I have thought about what stuck out at me from Randy’s Last Lecture. What I always get is the same thing, and that is not to get upset if things aren’t going your way. Make do with that you have and show others that you can still be as successful without some of your dreams becoming true. Randy Pausch’s left a legacy to his two sons and daughter for them to follow as they grow up. He left them being known as one of the nicest everyday-person to meet and how he always looked up, as he didn’t want to dwell on something that was out of his control.
I like to show the people I love that I love and appreciate them. Whenever friends and family do something to help me I always let them know that I’m grateful. By putting God first in my life I feel that it allows me to really have a conscious. I want to treat people the way I want to be treated. So I normally try to go over and beyond to make sure everyone around me is happy or having a good time.
I am very compassionate towards them for trusting me. This attachment style has guaranteed that I have had few, but very stable relationships in the past which are more long term; this include my present relationship. I am considered a trustworthy person. I am often seen as someone that can be counted upon and an individual who values relationships a lot. Often my families and friends do feel that I see and take situation to the extreme,
I knew I can expect love and care from them and that they adore me. As a result I never felt ignored when they left me with children to play by myself because I did
Loyalty is a valuable human characteristic that defines who a person is in each relationship that they encounter throughout their life. From childhood to adulthood, we learn to be loyal to our family. That is realizing and seeing that each family member is there for the other no matter what. The fact that your parents married and decided to have children is showing a loyalty to each other and their relationship. We watch our family around us and see the importance of being loyal to ourselves and our families.
Unit 3: Supporting children Task 1: Provide a list of five ways with reasons, that you have been a positive role model for children in your setting. P3.1- I believe that I have been a positive role model for children in my setting as: I am always respectful I use good manners all the time I am always happy and cheerful within the setting I have good management skills I always have a positive attitude. P3.2- Within my setting you can see that I am respectful to children, staff and the setting as I always take the children serious when they ask me something for example I would never laugh at the children even if what I thing they are saying is funny as I find this to be rude. I never interrupt the children nor the staff when they are talking, I respect children’s and staff’s views and opinions even if some of the things I think different to for example I would never disagree with a child or staff if we was having a decision on something in which we had different views on the subject. I listen to the children and not act like I don’t want to listen to them or act like they are boring, I give full eye contact when a member of staff or the children are talking to me.
Despite the difficulties, we all tried to make the best of it. I’m extremely thankful for having the support of my family and friends. I have been glad to have had the opportunity to help other people in my life with the same kind of support. America became our home and gave me the opportunity to look up towards a future
Soul Surfer Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton is a good example of how we choose our lifestyle. She enjoys being with her friends, and she loves her family. She knows that God has a good plan for everyone. And no matter the circumstances, it's important to have a positive perspective and do all that can be possible to be a better person. For these reasons, it is worthy to write about her family's and friends' support, her faith in God, and her positive attitude.
Belonging I’m a very loving person and I expect for people to love me back. I love my family and friends. If we were to disagree on
The parable of the Good Samaritan is definitely a picture of everyday life, because it happens quite a bit in this world. It’s a message that is trying to be sent to people, our brothers, and sisters. This message means that we should help people if they need help, we are all brothers and sisters; we are supposed to care for one another, and love one another. We are not supposed to be selfish, and have no remorse. (Luke 11:27, 31-34).
