My name is Kelvin Jackson and this is my second semester of college. I’ve been out of school for almost eighteen years. He also accomplished opening his own medical office in Spanish Brooklyn where he hung his family tree portrait. His hard working and determination allowed him to move his family to a suburban house in New York and still own land in the Dominican Republic. He could afford to put his daughters through many boarding schools, private schools, and summer camps.
Josiah was married to two women and Abiah was his second wife. In total, Josiah had seventeen children, ten by Abiah. Franklin was their last son and the third youngest of the ten. Harriet Tubman is a great inspiration and touched the lives of many slaves. According to PBS, “Harriet Tubman is perhaps the most well-known of all the Underground Railroad’s “conductors.” During a ten-year span she made 19 trips into the South aand escorted over 300 slaves to freedom. And, as she once proudly pointed out to Fredrick Douglass, in all of her journeys she “never lost a single passenger.”.” Harriet Tubman was a slave herself and worked towards freeing other slaves. Not only did she put others before herself, she had the courage to help “smuggle slaves to freedom in the North and Canada” (examples.yourdictionary.com).
All of those became very successful. Later on Oprah began to put on weight, she had a hard time and later on last sixty pounds. She was relived, happy, and didn't feel like she needed to hide herself. Oprah was named "America's 25 Most Influential People". Some people refer to Oprah the "world's biggest piggy bank", because how many donations she gives.
