A wise man once said, “Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate” (Meyersohn 102). This was said by one of our nation’s most well-known leaders. Although he is most famous for his assassination, he was one of our greatest presidents. He had a lot of courage and did many things to better our country. There are three significant events that most people should know more about. These include, his background, winning presidency and putting plans into action, and lastly, being assassinated. The person I am describing is the one and only John F. Kennedy. May twenty ninth 1917, John F. Kennedy was born. He was born to Rose Fitzgerald and Joe Kennedy. All together, they had nine children. Four of them were boys and five were girls. They were a strong family and stood by each other with everything that they pursued. There are many theories of how he was assassinated. He was killed two years into his term while driving around Dallas, Texas. The theories said to have killed him include being several shooters, the CIA set him up to be killed, and the most accepted one being that he was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. This one is most accepted because it is what the government says the autopsy showed. Since this is the main theory, I will discuss it further. While at work, during lunch, most employees rushed outside to catch a glimpse of President Kennedy passing through; however Lee Harvey Oswald did not. Fiftiesweb.com states that “At the time the President passed by, no employee other than Oswald was on the sixth floor.” William L. Brennan claims to have seen Oswald fire the shots.
