I have grown to be loving, respectful, and polite. I have two children myself, and now I make sure that they are raised in church also. My mother has taught me to become the woman I am today. She has influenced me in all aspects of my life. She raised me to be respectful, educated, generous, and kind.
Prior to this I had a regular childhood with two working parents and wonderful grandparents. Since at that time I was only child I got loads of attention which included plenty of talks in regards to what’s right and wrong. Both my parents and grandparents had the idea that education is really important. That was installed in me from very early on. Few months before war started I was blessed with a little baby sister.

My story is a little different from my parents. I entered motherhood at the age of fifteen in the ninth grade. I continue to go to school, because my goal was to receive a high school diploma.

Biography My name is Skylar Moseley, and I am a freshman at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview Texas. I have a huge family who I am very close to and spend most of my time with. I also have wrestled for eleven years, and was lucky enough to get a scholarship to continue my career here at Wayland. I have many other hobbies I enjoy every time I have a chance too. My family has been the most important part of my life as long as I can remember.
My mother has been a part of the church since it was first started. She has been a part of every committee and taught religious education classes there. The community around our home is so welcoming that we have not felt a need to leave. Since then, I have become involved with the church and have made many friends. Personal Statement I am a firm believer that God will always put us in the right place, at the right time, and for the right reasons. After volunteering for two years as an AmeriCorps member for the Springdale School District, I was offered a position as an administrative assistant for a school-based health center in an elementary school. Up to that time, I had dreamed for many years of becoming a kindergarten teacher, so I thought to myself, “This is great! My son was only two at the time so he did not understand that grandma went to heaven and what it meant. Until this day all three of my kids point at a picture that I have on my end table of grandma Dean and says “that is grandma Dean she is in heaven I miss her.” Even though the other two kids did not met her my oldest son Bryce told them memorize that he remember about her and how sweet of a person she was. He made sure that he told them about her that way they knew who grandma Dean was. I loved my grandmother with all my heart and I miss her dearly every day. My grandmother was everything to me and she will always hold that special piece of my heart.
Life has changed for me in so many ways when making this decision. As a single mother I thought I would never have made it this far. Being the only daughter of my mother my two brothers graduated from college with honour and has good jobs. I had a young baby and did not complete my high school education. I see my friends getting good jobs and pursuing their education and I was a sixteen year old mother with nothing to look forward to.
The resident my grandmother spent the most time with was a woman wheel chair bound with cerebral palsy named Nancy. As I grew up with my grandmother bringing me with her to visit at this place, Nancy taught me how beautiful life is and how lucky I am to be able to embrace even the smallest of pleasures that many cannot.
