Women make better leaders than men. Do you agree? To be a great leader is not easy. Leading a group of people to achieve success that we crave for is not a child’s play. To make it more difficult, not everyone is fortunate to have good leadership skills in them. Some even take some times to build it in and infuse them in their daily life especially at work. However the big question that most of us discuss these days is who among us make a better leader? Is it men or women? Though we are living in a generation where genders do not matter anymore and everyone whether men or women are equal, I personally believe that men do make better leaders than women even though I am a woman myself. Most women are emotionally unbalance, have other responsibilities and not a born leader are the reasons why I have to disagree that women make better leaders than men. When I was in high school I used to be given with responsibilities by the teachers to be the group leader in various school level competitions such as speech choir. I always thought that I am a good leader until one day I realized that I was not even close to be one. Even our current Prime Minister today is a man. This society’s norm who believe that men are better leaders than women has been preached in government level itself which is why most of us including me believe that men are indeed better leaders than women. Unlike men, women are not born leaders. Most men know how to handle difficult situations well, make quick yet effective decisions and have higher goals or expectations than women which make them better leaders than us.
