Anabolic Steroids Anabolic steroids are used to improve performance, and to increase muscle mass and to decrease body fat. It can also change their body shape into a more muscular physique. Steroids are mostly found in sports, like Baseball and Football. It’s found mostly in long-distance runners, cyclist, bodybuilding, and/ or body shaping. Steroids are illegal and most sports test their athletes to prevent them from getting an unfair advantage. But steroids can be used for medical purposes such as treating delayed puberty, wasting of the body due to conditions as a HIV, osteoporosis, and also for itching caused by a liver condition.
