Leaders must know and understand their soldiers well enough to train them as individuals and teams to operate proficiently. This will give them confidence in their ability to perform well under the difficult and demanding conditions of battle. Individual training is the principle duty and responsibility of NCOs. No one in the Army has more to do with training soldiers than NCOs. Well trained soldiers will likely succeed and survive on the battlefield.
In this article by Mrs. Deluca she mentioned that combat soldiers are trained to “toughing it out”, whatever the problem is. They are trained not to show any signs of “weakness” because in some cases it is frowned upon. Combat war veterans at times will tend to judge themselves as being weak because the condition makes them feel weak. Mrs. Deluca also explains that to tough it out is a skill that is necessary when it comes to a combat situation. The reason is because soldiers see it as skills that work and that have made it possible for them to come home alive from war.
In addition, when cadets conduct themselves in a manner that brings credit to their family, country, school and Corp of Cadets, they can ensure their respect as they have gained it by showing they have earned it. Therefore, by living by the creed, you have the benefit of gaining more respect. Cadets can get more responsibility by living by this creed. By practicing good citizenship, Cadets show fellow Americans that they can be responsible for their actions and deeds. Cadets must show they are responsible or they might not get the job that they want or get to go to the college that was there dream school.
Creon wants the people to obey him and respect him, but he has not given them a reason to. The decisions that he makes are bad ones that hurt his people as well as his own reputation and family. It is only when he can’t take the suffering anymore that he is driven by grief, but still he will not give up his power. Another strong reason why Creon should not continue to be king is because he is too stubborn and proud to be a ruler. A good leader should know when to kneel down instead of trying to put everyone and everything under him.
Steve Jobs is the perfect model to demonstrate the parallel between leadership and management of an organization. Jobs was a very intelligent and sharp individual. One figure in the sports industry that I would compare to Steve Jobs is Bill Belichick, Head Coach of the New England Patriots. Although both Belichick and Jobs carry a brash attitude that could come off as misleading, it’s not a negative attribute; they just want the best for the company/organization. Sometimes leaders have to a take hard stance to get tasks accomplished right and effectively.
Ender takes this adversity as a challenge and quickly trains them to be the best army by selecting the best leaders for his platoons and allowing them to improvise when necessary. He leads by being what every soldier wants to be. All of his soldiers respect and trust him, and they are ready to make quick decisions or follow an order when it truly

Straight away, we are told that Haig and his generals were ‘pretty good’, although they weren’t the greatest team that has come out of the British Army, they still had a number of positives. We are told that Haig used the resources that he was given the best ways he possibly good, a strong sign that he is a good general. Also, the British Army never mutinied, unlike the French, Russian and German armies, therefore highlighting the trust that Haig had created between him and his soldiers. Therefore, the strategy of which him and his soldiers having a common trust did help them to win the war.
Regan governed with focused self-confidence and he never considered his position to place him above those he led. Most people saw Regan as an honest, authentic, genuine and honorable President, but most importantly he was a great communicator. He showed that best himself in the Farewell Address January 1989. “I won a nickname, "The Great Communicator." But I never thought it was my style or, the words I used that made a difference: it was the content.
A persuasive manager is more aware of the employees but it would be incorrect to say that the style of management is more inclusive of employees. The disadvantages of the persuasive management style are that there may not be enough or even an entire lack of support from employees for management. As the employees will have no input into the decision making process, they also may not trust the decisions that are made. A system that has no input from employees will not have the advantage of the ideas of the people who are working on the ,,front line’’ and as a result employees will show no initiative, which can reduce
