This can include treatment in a private hospital by a medical specialist or GP. It can also include dental treatment, counselling and physiotherapy. One way of paying for private healthcare is to have a health insurance, which works simply by paying an amount of money every month to a company who then pay out when you require the healthcare. The NHS is free, which represents a huge advantage against other healthcare systems that charge for health insurance. Of course, you pay for the NHS within taxes; however every UK taxpayer makes the same contribution.
Everybody would have access to health care through an application process and health care would be paid for based on tax revenue. Based on how much they make would determine how much help from the government they would receive. Every person with health care would receive a “smart card” with medical information and the bill will be sent to the government. The state will set fixed prices on procedures and medication based on income. There will also be a Co-pay every three months, and government would automatically pay for the poor and pregnant women.
That is, the Veterans Administration’s health care services and the active duty and reserve military force are covered by a socialized medicine program. In this program all healthcare beneficiaries receive the same quality of treatment, and the providers are not influence by greed thus eliminating quality health care disparities. America is one of the few industrialized nations that do not have such a system for its citizens. In my opinion I believe this is an awesome system because it will be fair for all of the Americans. Like I mention earlier it would benefit all of the people living in the United States because everyone would receive adequate treatment regardless of their economic or
It will never go out of business hence people are always going to need health care no matter what our economy and business rates are going look like in a decade. It is important to greet the patients arriving at the office or a clinic because you are the first person that the patients see. When they arrive, you help the patient form a first impression about the medical facility and its employees. The first impression should always be positive and comfortable for the patient. Kierra Bilbrew English 1020 Smith 29 October 2012 The Mission Statement of Planned Parenthood Planned Parenthood Federation of America is a name that most people in the United States can recognize. They are an organization funded by the government specializing in reproductive health, sex education, and abortions. This mission statement relates with my theme because Planned Parenthood is a place where many people go to get counseling, birth control, and more for free or a low cost. The purpose of this mission statement, just like any other mission statement, is to explain the reason for Planned Parenthood is existent. The actual title of it is “A Reason for Being.” One of the reasons I believe a mission statement is important for all organization is so people can know what the business stands for and why it is important.
The rising cost of health care has cause the government to step in and control regulations and spending; thus creating a health care reform system. America is now entering into this reform. The purpose of having a universal health care system is to provide covered care for all its residence, dispel misnomers about the program, and America's health care system, before Obama Care, was organized around private insurance companies, which many of our citizens could not afford. With the new Obama health care system, everyone pays into the system and everyone receives care. Just like Britain's health care system, they provides free public healthcare to all permanent residents at the point of need.
Healthcare in Canada is publicly funded and subsidized by tax dollars. Meaning every tax-paying citizen is contributing to the healthcare of all people who utilize available services, regardless of their lifestyle, and whether they care about their bodies or have respect for others. Not everyone entering an emergency department is of sound mind, respectful or courteous to others. Convicted criminals, pedophiles, gangsters all utilize the public healthcare system. Creating a moral dilemma for nurses and healthcare professionals, who have to put their own feelings aside to treat the patient with respect and dignity.
