Blome, "Should American Kids Spend More Time in Class." This article gave me the opening ideas of why American students should remain in class longer than the typical 6 to 8 hours, 180 days a year. This article contained statistics on how our public schools stack up against our foreign counterparts. It also persuaded the reader through facts on why school should be longer. My next step was to read the article "Expand School Hours and You Will Expand Learning."
She said I could say anything I want in my report and that I might not pass on her remarks accurately or I might make her look bad. I assured her that I would make every effort to report her description as best I could. She asked when she should be expecting to receive her upgraded computer and said that she has had to use the computers in the labs since her class began and that she is at a real disadvantage not having her own computer. I told her that SchoolTools makes every effort to resolve customer complaint issues within 6 weeks. She said that would be too late; her course would be more than half over by then.

JThe Breakfast Club is a classic stereotypical example of a teenagers basic struggles through high school. The film covers these issues from every social class and every position of the social structure of high school giving it a wide range of sociological outlook. The conclusion of the film brings the different social figures together forming a strong bond, and leading to the discovery that these teens aren't so different after all.
One of the positive effects of passing the DREAM Act is that it will provide legal resident status to the illegal youth living in the U.S., who are passionate about learning and furthering their education. Almost 65,000 undocumented students graduate from high school each year in the United States and cannot further education or obtain a job because of their legal status. If the DREAM Act were to be passed, these students would be able to enroll in a college or university, be able to apply for financial aid and pay in-state tuition rates as well as enter the military (Bennion). Once an immigrant completes 2 years of college or military service they will able to obtain legal status. Will offshoring be the greatest problem for the future of America? Natasha Reilly When applying to college, I, as well as many other students, needed to send in SAT /ACT scores along with the college applications. Normally for many people this is easy. Sign right into your account on collegeboard.com (which hold all the scores of students across the United States) and from there on you are able to access your scores, hit send, and it is sent to whatever school you wish. Unfortunately for me this was a much more complicated process and my scores just weren't turning up.
Knowing a second langue is a huge advantage but it is hard to learn. I witnesses first hand when my freshman English teacher said she was going to call home, assuming my parents where Hispanic and did not speak English, she proceeded to ask if she would need a translator. I simply responded “If you want but my mom is American.” This opened my eyes to the constant discrimination Hispanics face every
Haley King Perry ASL 3 Feb 22nd, 2012 Interview with Deaf Community When walking into the gymnasium I was a little overwhelmed knowing I had to pick two people to interview while also knowing I only had a short time to do it. So because of this I started looking around wondering who I was going to actually interview. Around halftime of the boy’s game I noticed this woman that was sitting behind me and I decided I was going to interview her. I got her attention by waving my hand to get her attention and then introducing myself letting her know I needed someone to interview. She politely told me she would be perfectly fine with the interview, so then it started.
We all have been embarrassed by acne but have you ever been the one without acne in a whole entire High school? Last year at Colombia High, a high school that consists of more than 1,000 faculty and students, acne broke out on all of the faces in the school except one.
