In today’s society, it is almost impossible to escape the constant flow of technology. Every year, month, and even week, the newest products are being placed on the shelves of our local electronic stores and on popular websites all over the Internet. Most of these products are connected in some way or another to the Web. These items such as cell phones, computers, MP3’s, and game systems are everywhere. They’re in our houses, on the streets, in our stores, in our cars, and in our schools. Since this technology is so heavily present in our everyday life, and everyone around us is exposed to this technology, the pressure to stay connected to the latest technologies at all times is extreme. With so many social networking sites, text messages, e-mails, instant messages, and cell phone calls, it feels impossible to disconnect from the Internet-based technologies for a chosen time.…show more content…
