1 hit “Not Over You,” especially when Colbie Caillat came back out to the stage to do the duet with Gavin Degraw. It was a great way to end a perfect show. I was really glad that I attended her concert. The songs that Colbie was singing, Fallin’ for You; The Little Things; Begin Again; Realize; I Do; Let’s Make It Rain; Shadow; Lucky (with Andy Grammer); What If; I Never Told You; Favorite Song; I Won’t; Brighter Than the Sun; and Bubbly. My all-time favorite song from Colbie is Bubbly.
I found out singing is very entertaining thanks to Ms. Morrow. From the point on, I wanted to pursue vocal performance. She had opened so many more doors for me. The thing I found most fascinating was that she believed in me. My junior year, she helped me get over my stage fright by allowing me to sing a solo at "Winter Concert."
If the goal was to win over the crowd then it passed because they performed crowd pleasers, was synchronized for the most part, and gave the crowd something to remember. You can never go wrong with performing old school jams during halftime at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Tennessee State University’s Aristocrat of Bands is known for their song choices and unique formation. Senior Day held up to that title. Performing “Never Can Say Goodbye” by Jackson 5, while the seniors were being announced was something that was going to be memorable for the seniors well past the end of their performance.
In my last year of band I was able to build enough credibility that the band director and fellow band members trusted my knowledge. In Eagle Squadron March, my band director, Mr. Wright, trusted my ability to play a difficult part in the song along with three other players. He knew I was capable of doing it because of how well I played my scales, my ability to sight read, and my understanding of how rhythms work. When one of the flute players didn’t know a fingering to a note or wasn’t too sure how to play a rhythm, he or she would ask me for help. Because I was a senior in the section, they trusted my years of experience to know all the fingerings to notes or to be able to read the rhythms.
A benefit for my position would be that you don't have to do something just because some deity or someone says its right. You do something because you know its right. Also, you are not restricted in what you do by something. You can live your life how you want to. But a drawback would be that you wouldn't be living for goodness or for a deity, you would be living for yourself and this could seem selfish to some.
Concert Report 1 Jon McCugh April 6, 2011 On April 5, 2011, Shelton State Community College hosted a student musicale called Terrific Tuesday. It was very successful and showed the talent of the music dept. at Shelton State. The performers kept your attention the entire time and every song was beautiful. There was a variety of different performances and it showed that the students were well rounded.

I have never really seen a place that is like Mr. Lucky’s before.
Violating a person in such a way is horrible, cruel and it can lead to severe physiological problems of the victim. Rape is not beneficial to society and it is not agreed upon by both parties, but instead forced upon on the one not in agreement. Rape is not only with women, but also with children and men. There are those who specifically target women because they know they can overpower them if they need to in order to get their way. Children or minors may lack the judgment needed for valid consent.
Overcome with awe and envy I closely watched the greats from both teams warm-ups and do things with the ball that are extremely difficult; they made it look so easy and effortless. Time dwindled and game time was near. My sister and her school choir came out on the stage and began to sing the national anthem. For all my parents and I knew this is what they were really excited for. Yes I admit that it was a pleasure and I was very proud to watch my sister go out there and perform, but as bitter as it sounds, the only thoughts going on in my mind were all amazing plays I was going to the
:”what does this make me think?” (Lynn) (20) When you first meet Rose you are immediately drawn in to the talents of this beautiful woman. The songs she sang and “Hymns so sweet and mighty you expected Jesus to come down of his cross and clap”. (Bloom) Make me feel that this family is not only loving, but faithful to God. Rose is beautiful in body as well as mind and spirit. Violet is in awe of her older sister and hoping to be like her as she grows older.
