Hello Folks! Its time for all folks to get to know the world around them, because it effects every aspect of our lives. I have to say in today’s world of talk radio and fake news or just plain old negative politics, the blame game. The bottom line is that there are many cultures that impact a community. So, lets open our minds and begin our road to Cultural Intelligence. What is Cultural Intelligence? Or CQ? As globalization has rendered the business environment more complex, dynamic, and competitive, the ability to function effectively in different cultural contexts, called Cultural Intelligence (CQ), has never been more important for organizations. Such talent goes beyond simply being intelligent(IQ), emotionally mature(EQ), or having good social skills. In my experience of strengthening my own cultural intelligence, I've mobilize three strategies that can help you grow in your understanding and recognition of cultural diversity. Let's look at three integrated strategic concepts: understanding your history, surrounding yourself in a different culture and learning new languages. Community leaders and members who possess a high level of cultural intelligence play an important role in bridging and bonding strategies in an organization and community networking. educating their peers about different cultures; transferring knowledge between otherwise different groups; helping to build interpersonal connections and smooth the interpersonal processes in a multicultural world. Culturally intelligent community members also possess the potential to drive up innovation and creativity, due to their ability to integrate diverse resources and help the organization make best use of the multiple perspectives that a multicultural environment brings to the
