The Joker is constantly, trying to make those around him stoop to his level of murder and crime. The Joker corrupts many characters in the series. In The Dark Knight, he
The character I have chosen for my character is the Joker. The Joker is a fictional character known for his erratic personality in both books and movies about Batman. The Joker is supposedly a type of clown with green unkept hair and makeup and eccentric outfits. He shows signs of not being mentally stable, and has killed countless people making him a murderer. The Joker is best known for the scars on both sides of his face, he tells countless lies and stories about how he received the scars; each time making up a new and more unrealistic story.
Enraged, Bruce begins destroying the Batcomputer. Once he calms down, Bruce decides that the old way to fight this evil is with evil.
So, Victor Frankenstein was guilty as he created the creature, and left him alone. Victor caused Frankenstein’s monstrous appearance and his appearance resulted in misunderstandings about the creature. The main point is that the guilty one of these misunderstandings, the creature’s appearance and his exclusion from society was Victor Frankenstein, the creator. Particularly by focusing on the given passages 15, 16, and19, I will try to show how far away Victor is from humanity. Before Frankenstein creates the creature, Frankenstein goes graveyards to collect dead body parts with an aim to accomplish his ambition.
With this, he dominates Gotham City and was planning everything he could to do toxic to Gotham City by having hallucinogenic sprayed in the air and also in the city’s water supply as well. This however, did not suit so well with Batman for which he made it his obligation to fight against the evil crime(s) and overall corruption in Gotham City. Ra's al Ghul is part of the master mind in this horrific crime against Gotham City along with Dr. Crane and it is up to Batman to save his people and city. When confronting Ra's al Ghul on the train, Batman jams the controls and escapes leaving Ra's al Ghul to die. This is what makes Batman a hero.
It was more developed and had more of a story to it. The two versions of the lottery both express the fact that you are a product of your environment and that you are heavily effected by your surroundings contributing to your overall being as a person. I believe The Lottery is a terrible idea as it not only kills innocent people but the fact that it doesn't even get rid of evil as they are convinced it does as when Jason arrived everyone in the town was trying to kill him and force him to leave as soon as he got there by blowing up his car and making it impossible to stay there even if he was being respectful to the town and
In “Just lather, that’s all”, the barber has a lot of chance to kill Captain Torres but he didn’t. This is because he thought if he kills him he will also become cruel like Captain Torres. War is a sad stuff so many people were died in the war. Actually,
I didn’t think that if Batman killed the Joker he would be wrong to and if would basically be the same as vigilantes, taking the law into their own hands. I liked how the authors compared terrorism to this situation, it would not be fair if we tortured terrorist to tell us information. America is looked at as a superpower and a place where everyone comes for freedom, I feel if we start using water torture and other means to get information out of our enemies we would become just as bad as they are. I feel like the answer to both of these situations is no. Batman should not kill the Joker and we should not be torturing our enemies to get information out of them.
One of their major goals was to disrupt and destroy the South Vietnamese government. Orders were actually given to the invaders to cause maximum disruption to the government to create crisis by killing military and administrative personnel. This reason alone would do some serious damage to the government but another tactic was to kill for “…terrorism and warning.” By killing government officials and private citizens it scared the citizens of not just Hue but all over the area into compliance with the National Liberation Front. The communists also wanted to annihilate Christians for political reasons. The communists always tried to suppress religions anyway possible and because of Ngo Dinh Diem being Catholic and in charge of South Vietnam at the start of the resistance to the North.
Bateman kills people for his own satisfaction, the nameless narrator does it because of his urge to get rid of an eye. Similarities Patrick Bateman and the nameless narrator both feel the judgement or "the eye" of the antagonist. This force them to do very drastic actions in order to control their psychological problems. The main character in American Psycho appears very normal to the public. This is getting clarified in the beginning of the movie, while doing his morning routine, this goes through his mind: "There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction.
