The same case where an immigrant leaves their country for good intentions can have bad effect on their family back home. For example, when someone leaves home it can cause their family to lose income and suffer more as a result until the immigrant can either return or send remittances. That is the main negative result when someone immigrates to the US. For individuals in the US, when immigrants are seen either in school or at work, many believe that they are here illegally and are taking the jobs of American people. Even though this fact is true, in most cases, it is not true and the immigrant has earned the spot or position they are currently in.
The Grapes of Wrath follows the difficulties of Joad’s and their journey into a land they thought was going to bring a better life. Their whole views change though when they saw what California was really like for the migrant workers. Though these ideas were more externally shown by some, the whole family felt the change. The Joad’s are a fictional family, but there may have been families just like them in the 1930’s traveling to find a better life in the West. The Dust Bowl was hard on many Americans from the mid Untied States and their stories maybe just the same as the Joad’s in John Steinbeck’s Grapes of

They don’t have the economy we have or goods. This among the next few reasons is why we should allow immigration in the United States. Most immigrants don’t have great lives or like their home country and that’s why they want to come to America. They have to deal with wars and abundant spread of diseases without proper health care. Most of them have dictatorships and they don’t have the freedoms they deserve as human beings.
Shell shock caused a lot of problems and casualties for the country and for the war. People who were victims of shell shock were most likely to feel panicked and scarred of flight and unable to sleep, walk or talk. At the beginning of World War II, the term "shell shock" was banned by the British Army, though the phrase "postconcussional syndrome" was used to describe similar traumatic responses. Sexism Sexism caused a lot of problems in history. For example during the industrial revolution women are prevented to have a job that is paid equally as a man does although they do more work than a men does, and this lead to women rights movement. In ancient China women were not allow to go out they couldn’t have a job all they do is stay at home and do housework. It’s not really because their religion didn’t allow them. It’s because Chinese people think after women get married they will live with their husband and they will become a part of the other family.
A lot of American citizens don't like the idea of this immigration reform because they think the United States its going to get worst and because the immigration reform is against their morals and the law. One of the cons is that less-skilled American citizens will earn less money and have fewer job opportunities because they must compete with immigrants in the job market. American citizens don't want the immigration reform because they think immigrants are going to take away their opportunity for jobs. The economy is bad right now with jobs. There is less opportunity of jobs than before.
Renia Laguerre Dr. Stephenson Psychology of culture “Crossing Over” The issues and challenges that immigrants and refugees go through are, being able to be a citizen in the United States, obtaining a residential card, and the process of receiving a green card or visa while in their country. Many groups are forced to move to another country because of war and oppression, and many decide to move for better living. The ones who are forced do not have a plan on where to live or where to go. Immigrants have a better chance because they plan to come to the United States, but the process of receiving a green card can take months or years to obtain.
