It’s a crucial moment in the book, the deciding factor in a story we already knew the outcome of. Despite knowing that her suicide was inevitable, readers find themselves wanting that fate changed by the end of Hannah’s tapes. All in all, Asher does an exceptional job in using bildungsroman to captivate an audience, putting them at the edge of their seats as a story unfolded. Even with an ending blatantly stated in the start, readers still want to hear the story play out. They find themselves sympathizing with Hannah’s tale, getting angry and sad at all the right parts.
There is a big difference between how people behaved back then and how they do today. People were more often than not, polite and had respect for others. This is the type of character of Atticus. He was an assertive man, yet he was resevred. When Atticus was defending somone or helping someone out he would always put himself forward and do as much as he could.
This shows how the women are suppose to please the men no matter how much gruesome pain the women go through, therefore making wives a sort of ‘sex slave’. Alice Walker’s overall message, that men and women get treated unequally, sticks out like a sore thumb. One way she shows this message is by showing how men were allowed to have multiple wives. For example, in the beginning when Tashi is reciting a
He follows tradition and class when it comes to treating a girl right. Edward’s personality is a wakeup call to men everywhere about how to show girls the love and respect they deserve. The Twilight obsession is just a phase. It will come, and it will go. “In the real world, the Bellas who fall for the Edwards usually do not live happily ever after,” according to Shedding some Light on Twilight written by Mary Kassian.

His innocence and lack of knowledge about what was going on in the concentration camp, lead him to a tragic death. Your book taught me a life lesson that, innocence can lead to tragedy. Your book has made me to recognize that innocence in this case became an ignorance, which lead to tragedy. Bruno was so innocent that he refused to see anything wrong. Even though he witnessed many horrible things, he could not believe in his Father’s true work.
Her story, although we might not know if they’re completely true, tells of a woman who knew how to use her resources to gain the maximum out of her life.
