A team is any group of people who are working together cooperatively and interdependently to accomplish a common goal. Working as group might be hard sometimes but most of the time we learn from each other and build a relationship with each other. For me, working as a group for our “Public work project” helped me to become more comfortable with my group members and allowed me to go out and meet new people that we needed for this project. After I started doing this project with my group members we became like best friends. Doing this project as a group made our work exciting; we got new ideas from each other that were worthwhile and built a team relationship. There were many different kinds of behaviors that occurred through this group project. However our goal was to find the common ground, then once we found it we could enjoy working together. We took this project as personal mission not as a group project. My self-interest for this project is to just go out help people and put smile on people face. I’m family social science major and I love helping working with people I think that’s one of my strengths. On top of that I being a division one athlete sometimes seen can be seen as a big deal to the society so I want to go out there and be a role model for these kids. Most children with a disability generally get immense pleasure from very simple things and love to please everyone. They want to do everything’s that other children do in their daily life and want to have every opportunity that other kids had, however most of the time they don’t get enough services and opportunities to do what they want to do as same as regular kids. That’s why we decided to want to create this fun and enjoyable project that would give them an opportunity of meeting many student athletes and play some games with them as most regular kids do.
