Teenage drivers have lack of driving experience, and a distraction of using electronics. They want to be seen driving while on their cell phones and have the loudest stereos. Teenage tend to use electronics while driving, and they do not know that it is a huge distraction. They impress each other by driving recklessly and being faster than their friends. Some teenagers are very cautious when they are driving.
Especially around where we live, people have high self-esteem and they think they know everything because they got money and drive nice cars, which they never worked for it so they wouldn’t understand the value of the car. Most traffic accidents are caused by dangerous driving habits attained and carried out by drivers such as speed, using cellphone. Thousands of people are killed in car accidents every year. The main reason that most people are killed in car accidents each year is because most people have very bad driving habits, and speeding is one of the most dangerous drivers habit, it causes many accidents that take a love one’s life and destroy families’ every day. In the United States of America approximately 32,000 people die each year from speeding in an automobile.
Cell Phone Usage While Driving COM/156 Texting while driving can become very dangerous, not only to you as a driver, but also to the other people that may be in the vehicle with you. It is also very dangerous to the other people in vehicles around you. I believe that it is also dangerous to individuals who may be walking down the street as well. There are many distractions of texting when driving a motor vehicle. Visual distraction is caused by taking your eyes off the road to check a text message, or to reply to a text message.
My Three Bad Driving Habits Thousands of people are killed in car accidents every year. There are an assortment of reasons why; from driving drunk to even falling asleep at the wheel. The main reason that most people are killed in car accidents each year is because most people have very bad driving habits, and the main of these people are teenagers. Many teens believe themselves to be immortal, so they feel they can do anything and nothing will go wrong, or hurt them. The three worst habits teens have are road rage, poor grasp on safety, and multitasking.
Using a cell phone while driving is a very dangerous obsession to do. I believe that there should be a law in every state banning the use of cell phones while driving. If a person uses a cell phone while driving he or she is easily distracted. It is one of the major causes of traffic accidents. Using a cell phone while driving also lowers a person’s reaction time.
Also, not being buckled up may cause injuries and deaths to people different from the ones not following the rule. It is absolutely necessary for everyone in the car to put on a seatbelt. Quite many people think that wearing a seatbelt is not necessary and its just a tip for young, unskilled drivers. Many teenages are convinced that wearing a seatbelt is “not cool” and that their friends will make fun of them for taking on a safety measure. Some people refuse to put seat belts on because they are too uncomfortable.
Many of us have witnessed drivers dialing and talking on cell phones, resembling drunk drivers swerving all over the roads. Strong regulations are needed because drivers using phones are seriously impaired and because laws on negligent and reckless driving are not sufficient to punish these driving talkers. Laws on traffic safety vary from state to state, and drivers distracted by cell phones can get off with light punishment even when they cause fatal accidents. Running red lights, failing to stop for a school bus and drunk driving are just a few examples. An increasing number of studies show that driving while talking on a cellphone can be dangerously distracting.
The purpose of the restrictions is keep teens safe and avoid crashes. Teens have a great misperception that gives them an overconfidence in everything they do. There are many factors that influence the why there are driver license restriction for teen drivers. One of the various factors is peer pressure. On a yearly average, six thousand teens die in car-related accidents. That is more than 15 people a day!
