Summer Vacation Essay

Most people love going on a vacation, to anywhere, just to get away from home. I already had a vacation and I dreaded to go on this vacation to Arizona. Even though it started terribly and boring, could it turn out to be better than I thought it would be? It was a hot and dry morning when I woke up around 4:30 on an August day. I remember I got up and took a nice cold shower to relax my body. When I got out I turned on my computer and played Sims 3. I remember reminiscing about what what we did over the course of the last week. The last meal we had was the breakfast of the last day, which included waffles, sausage, eggs, and orange juice. When we would leave it was going to be a four hour drive. While my grandma and grandpa were packing their luggage, my sister and I played one last game of miniature golf. After, we were on our way home. We started by entering onto the Highway, as my sister and I fell asleep. When we had woke up we were almost an hour and a-half from the hotel we had left, ready to eat lunch. We sat down at a rest stop to eat sandwiches and chips while our grandmother tried to shove carrots down our throats. When we finally left we were almost in Barstow, which meant we were almost two hours away from home. After a while we were about an hour and forty-five minutes away, and we stopped at the last gas station. My sister and I were not allowed to eat candy, but we felt like we needed it. So, we bought about twelve dollars worth of candy that included Kit-Kat, Reeses Pieces, and others while our grandmother and grandfather were in the bathroom. My sister hid our candy in her purse. When we got into the van we started eating the candy and almost got caught. It seemed as if we had more fun in the last hour than the whole entire
